On April 20, 1968, the Comanche Tribal Council passed resolution 1-68 authorizing the Business Committee to create a tribal housing authority and to cooperate with the tribal housing authority to improve housing conditions of Comanche tribal members on behalf of the Comanche Tribe.
On February 1, 1969, the Business Committee passed resolution 2-69 establishing the Housing Authority of the Comanche Indian Tribe and authorizing the transaction of business pursuant to the Oklahoma Housing Authorities Act.
Over fifty years later the Comanche Nation Housing Authority (CNHA) continues our mission to improve the housing conditions of Comanche citizens through a number of programs.
