Aaron Kionute worked for the CNHA in the summer of 2010 and then returned in May of 2011 until he left us in January of 2015 to join the military. He worked in the Maintenance department as a general laborer during which time he was dedicated to improving the lives of area Native Americans. He attended Cameron University for much of that time but ultimately decided to serve his Country by enlisting in the U.S. Army.
Aaron graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on Friday, March 27, 2015. He will stay at Fort Sill to complete his Advanced Individual Training (AIT) where he will learn the skills to perform his Army job, Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) 13M, as a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS/HIMARS) Crewmember.
Aaron is the son of Evelyn Kionute, employee of the CNHA, and step-son of Morgan Tosee of the Comanche Tribe. He is also the proud father of his two year old daughter, Aubriana Janae Kionute.
On behalf of all of us here at CNHA, we’d like to say thank you to Aaron and his family for the sacrifices to come. We wish you the best in your new career and are very grateful for your service to our Country and our way of life. Good luck and God speed.
