New CNHA Home Development Projects

The Comanche Nation Housing Authority is now taking applications for homes that are to be built in two separate Development Projects. One will be built west of Cache, Oklahoma and the other east of Apache, Oklahoma.

The Cache Project will have three to five homes and is planned for construction during this summer.  The homes will be constructed with funds allocated to the Comanche Nation Housing Authority by the Comanche Nation and will be built 1 mile west and 1/2 mile north of Cache on NW Quanah Road.

The Apache Project will be constructed with funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that have been allocated under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 and the Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program. The Apache Project will be built 1 ½ miles east and ½ north of HW 62 in Apache on County Road 1470.

All homes are for eligible low-income tribal members of the Comanche Nation. Applications and information regarding the projects are available at the Comanche Nation Housing Authority located at 402 S.E. "F" Avenue,  Lawton,  Oklahoma.
